Active Directory
Can FacilityNet handle multiple AD's
Yes, several companies with their own Microsoft Active Directory (on-Premise) can be connected to the solution even if they share resources.
Each company can make a connection to AD so that users and resources are automatically updated.
Each company can book private resources as well as shared resources. Booking of resources can be done in Outlook or web portal.
How to create / update users and resources
Solution 1: users / resources are automatically updated via LDAP.
Solution 2: users / resources are updated via the FacilityNet REST API.
Solution 3: users / resources are updated via uploading CSV or XML files.
Billing
Hvordan håndterer vi fakturering?
The meeting catering module can automatically send invoices to customers. To public authorities, an oioubl invoice is typically sent and to private companies a PDF invoice.

Yes, resources and meeting catering can be ordered across locations.

FacilityNet has a GDPR data processor agreement that describes all aspects of GDPR.
Canteen-terminal
Can external users pay with MobilePay and credit cards?
Yes, external users can pay at the canteen terminal with MobilePay or credit card.
What payment options are there?
Canteen customers can pay with employee cards, access chip or simply scan their phone. Payment is made by Salary Draw-up or by refilling money into your FacilityNet account. Guests can receive a guest card or pay with MobilePay or credit card. Read more: https://facilitynet.io/kantine-terminal/.
Specifications
The canteen terminal requires an internet connection and communicates with the FacilityNet web portal via HTTPS. FacilityNet provides tested hardware, f.ex. 21 ” touchscreen, MIFARE reader, receipt printer and QR scanner.
Price lists
Price lists can be time-adjusted and be individual for each company.
Can we use our own id cards?
Yes, you can use your own id cards for payment. It requires that there Mifare chip in your id card. If there is no MIFARE chip in the cards, we can read magnetic stripe or a QR code (sticker) can be put on your id card.
How are credit purchases billed?
FacilityNet can load business sales directly into the canteen foragters financial system(we support E-conomic and Navision). For other financial systems, a CSV file is imported into the canteen foragers ‘ financial system.
Office domiciles
Can resources be shared by multiple companies?
Yes, resources can be shared by several companies. Likewise, each company can have its own private resources.
Rooms, meeting screens and guest stands
Specifications
Room screens, meeting screens and guest stands are run via a browser and therefore only require an internet connection.
Do you deliver hardware?
Room screens: we can supply tablets and tablet holders, so the screens can be securely mounted on a wall or glass wall and provide configuration.
Meeting screens: we can provide info screens from 55″ to 65″.
Guest stand: we can supply touch screen, pedestal and label printer and provide configuration.
How to update the meeting history?
Local and info screens are updated automatically as soon as a booking is made in Outlook or the FacilityNet web portal.
Printing of guest cards
Guest cards can be printed automatically or by the reception as soon as a guest is checked in.
Outlook
Can I order in Outlook?
Yes, with the FacilityNet Outlook add-in, users can reserve rooms, av equipment and cars directly in Outlook. It is also possible to order meeting meals via Outlook. Read more.
How to install the Outlook extension?
The Outlook add-in is installed as an add-on for Outlook. This means that you do not have to install, configure or open up to the Exchange Server.
Which versions are supported?
FacilityNet Outlook extension works in Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016 and Office 365.
Resource booking
Can we set up rights management?
Yes, you can do Rights Management so that only selected departments have access to certain resources.
Security
Is FacilityNet safe to use?
Safety is our top priority. In FacilityNet, there is a high focus on security, both in software, data center and internally within the organization. Read more about our security procedures here: https://facilitynet.io/sikkerhed/.
Does the facility use sensitive personal data?
No, the FacilityNet does not enter and store sensitive data. In FacilityNet we only store the user’s name, e-mail address, initials, phone number.

Web servers and systems are monitored 24/7.
User support
Support options:
- Telephone support for administrators (Service Centre, reception, canteen staff, bookkeepers, canteen charters)
- Email ticket support system. We’ll call users if needed.

- Office hours from 8.00 to 17.00. Support is still available from 7.00 to 22.00.
